Eminem may in fact have one of the most exclusive line of hip-hop inspired sneakers to date. As they’ve all sold out in a matter of minutes and have only ever released in extremely limited quantities, he and Shady Records have been very privileged to have had their fair share of collaborations with such brands as Nike, Jordan and Converse. Having produced iconic models like the Air Jordan 4 (IV) Retro – ‘Encore’ and the Air Jordan 2 (II) – ‘The Way I Am’, Eminem already proves his passion and love for sneakers.

Yesterday we showed you the Converse Bad Meets Evil Chuck Taylor Hi which celebrates the collaboration album with Eminem and Royce da 5’9, Hell: The Sequel. Converse sat down with the two artists and interview. Questions were asked about their styles of rapping to the Chuck Taylor Hi. Releasing June 17th at the Converse store in New York and Boston.

Celebrating Eminem and Royce da 5’9 reunion for the album “Hell: The Sequel”, Converse will release a Bad Meets Evil Chuck Taylor All Star. The Bad Meets Evil x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star adds both the artists branding to the tongue, plus Bad Meets Evil on the side panels. Done in a classic black and white colorway, only 100 pairs are made and available in Boston and NYC on June 16th.

By now, most of us have heard about Jordan Brand‘s latest collaboration with Eminem which has produced a Flight Club exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 2 (II). This special release will be limited to 313 pairs, a number signifying the area code in Detroit, Michigan where Marshall Mathers aka Eminem grew up. This unique colorway features a black leather upper accented by grey and red stitching. The most interesting aspect of this sneaker is definitely the handwritten lyrics from Eminem’s songs featured on the ankle and side of this pair. A limited edition Air Jordan x Eminem t-shirt will accompany the release of this “The Way I Am” Air Jordan II. These will be available at Air Jordan Flight Club today, December 18, 2008, at 7pm EST/4pm PST. Be sure to be prompt if you’re interested in this release because they will sell definitely out quick!

For the launch of Eminem’s upcoming book, The Way I Am, Jordan Brand and Eminem have teamed up to release a limited edition Air Jordan II (2). The AJ Deux sports black leather with grey and red stitching.  “The Way I Am” Air Jordan II will go on sale starting December 18th at 7 PM EST and 4 PM PST via the Jordan Brand Flight Club. The reinvigorated reissue will be limited to 313 pairs, a number signifying the area code for Detroit, MI. Retail is set for $110 and a limited edition Air Jordan t-shirt will accompany this sneaker. Fortunately, the Air Jordan 2 yielded through this collaboration will be a little easier to obtain. 313 pairs of this sneaker will be released on Jordan Brand’s official website—Air Jordan Flight Club. The number of pairs released, 313, is a reference to the area code of Detroit where Marshall Mathers aka Eminem grew up. Also, a black Air Jordan x Eminem t-shirt with the words, “The Way I Am” will be made available alongside the sneakers.

The Air Jordan 2 (II) was chosen because its Eminem’s favorite Jordan model, which marks the second collaboration between Eminem and Jordan Brand. The first you may have seen is the Air Jordan 4 (IV) Encore, which was given to friends and family of Eminem.

On to the Air Jordan 2 Eminem The Way I Am, the ankle collar and toe box features handwritten lyrics from Eminem songs, and a Black / Stealth – Red color scheme. For Em fans and Jordan fans, this pair will release exclusively at the Air Jordan Flight Club online, and limited to 313 pairs (Marshall’s area code in Detroit). A special Air Jordan x Eminem T-Shirt will also be available dubbed “The Way I Am”.

Proceeds from the Air Jordan 2 (II) Eminem – The Way I Am will go to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which helps disadvantage children in the Michigan area.
