Kyrie Irving’s sixth signature shoe, the Nike Kyrie 6 is expected to launch during Fall 2019 and will utilize elements from his past signature models.
We received a first look of the Kyrie 6 during February which was an early sample and comes in all-Black. While not the best photo, it does give us a decent look and we can definitely see the Yeezy 2 inspiration.
Some cosmetics and technology has been updated, however you can see that the Kyrie 6 features past elements from his signature line. For example we have a similar strap used from the Kyrie 2 and what’s visible is ‘VI’ (6). Looking at the heel, it features a Swoosh with lines wrapping around it. This of course screams the Nike Air Yeezy 2 which might be the best thing next to the original release.
The midsole on the Kyrie 6 features Zoom turbo in the forefoot which was first used on the Kyrie 5. While unconfirmed, it’s possible the rest will come constructed with full length phylon. The outsole will feature the Kyrie 5 eye traction and meshes it with a zig-zag pattern.
