Nike is bringing back the “Warning Code” theme with a different approach. The original pair launched in October 2026 with a mostly Yellow upper and Blue accents. This new edition maintains the same color direction while adding PVD technology for a more reflective appearance. It also follows the PVD-treated “Racer Blue” edition, giving the Caitlin 1 another finish that separates it from the standard releases.
Looking closer, this Nike Caitlin 1 features Yellow mesh covering the base, including the toe box and parts of the side panels. The biggest change comes from the raised OptiCast details, which feature a pearlescent White finish and wrap around the sides and heel. Blue accents appear on the double-C tongue logo, Swoosh, and outsole. The layered Swoosh combines Racer Blue, Metallic Green, and Black, adding more contrast to the bright upper. Underneath, the outsole mixes Blue rubber at the forefoot with a translucent section toward the heel.

Frequently Asked Questions
PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition. It is a coating process that deposits a very thin layer of material onto a surface. Nike uses the treatment here to create the iridescent finish on the upper.
No. The PVD treatment is primarily a visual detail. The shoe’s performance comes from its OptiCast upper, Air Zoom Turbo unit, Cushlon foam midsole, midfoot plate, and rubber traction.
