Nike Hypermax - Summer 09

Nike’s Hyperdunk has been a huge hit this year and is still going strong after gaining a lot of attention this Summer, however next year offers a new basketball shoe inspired by the popular basketball shoe, the Hypermax.

Releasing next Summer, the Hypermax features a mid cut that is supported by an ankle strap and what looks to be an air unit and fly wire technology. As for the exterior, a simple white, black and red color-way surfaces the sneaker making for the perfect debut model. The Hypermax is expected to be released on June 1st and will retail at $130. 1. im not sold on these yet. i need to see what they look like on peoples feet. the overall design is kinda ugly imo.

  2. Not that much different from the Hyperdunks, just throw a strap on it and there you have it …im not sold on these either ..

  3. I hope that this is just nike's offering for big men. THis would be a huge disappointment if it were Nike's flagship offering next year.

  4. Real nice. They just look fly and comfortable and I am a true AirJordan ambassador so it is hard to sell me a shoe like this, but the HyperDunk is a real comfortable shoe anyway. I know that the air max system just added a few ounces to the shoe's weight, but overall it is a extraordinary shoe. Stylish, comfortable, and a die hard lightweight basketball shoe. I will be checking these out and I advise the true Nike head's to cop these. TheAmbassador has spoken.

  5. These shoes look exactly like hyperdunks so with that being said; they should have made these the back to the future joint it would make more since, since these kicks got a strap on em and they look a lil more higher nike is very backwards some times.

  6. you clowns. these arent just like the hyperdunks. hyperdunks are lunar shats and these joints have air max. im personally not a fan of straps around the ankles but i can look past it.

  7. whats next hyperforces like at first the idea was really good but nike shouldn't put the word hyper on all their shoes but no lie it would be nice if they just made a hyperdunk collection

  8. Beside's the lines on the side of the shoe, these don't look anything like hyperdunks. I will cop a pair when they come out.

  9. These are tough..better than the hyperdunks and 20 bucks cheaper…maybe a little too hightop for me though

  10. these hypermax's are official. just copped a pear and they look crazy on my feet. with the right fit u cant go wrong.

  11. The overall design is not that good and the strap is pointless, but they are a good basketball shoe I would recommend them to anyone

  12. love these shoes. just got them in black & white and red. Not the lightest shoe ever, but very comfortable. the strap just adds extra ankle support. recommended to everyone.

  13. The hypermax is very comfortable not much of a difference than the hyperdunks. I just got the all black stealth hypermax the strap you can just remove if not wanted on at the time!

  14. The straps are removable. and they are more durable than the hyperdunks. i'm a 6'7" shooting guard and i have played in both. the air max cushion makes them way more comfortable. a winner to me
