Ducks of a Feather, also known as DOAF, is a student-run apparel brand connected to the University of Oregon. For this project, the group works with Nike SB for the first time, releasing two Dunk Low colorways. The “Shout” edition takes inspiration from the song played during Oregon home games at Autzen Stadium. Fans sing along between the third and fourth quarters, making it a familiar part of the Ducks’ football atmosphere. Also releasing is the “The Zoo” iteration.
The shoes pay tribute to the University of Oregon’s game-day tradition. The song “Shout” by The Isley Brothers is played at Autzen Stadium, where Ducks fans sing along during home games. The tradition is also connected to the 1978 comedy National Lampoon’s Animal House, which was filmed on the University of Oregon campus. The pair celebrates the connection with “SHOUT!” embroidered on the heel and custom details inspired by the Ducks.
This Nike SB Dunk Low features Flax on the toe and heel overlays, while University Gold appears across the remaining upper panels. Pine Green Swooshes sit over White backing on the sides. Matching Green laces and embroidered Oregon branding near the lateral heel give the pair its school connection.
The back tabs feature “SHOUT!” embroidery, while the tongue labels place Nike SB branding inside a laurel wreath. Custom insoles display the phrases “Once A Duck, Always A Duck” and “Ducks of a Feather.” The look is completed with a Gum rubber outsole.
