Nike Hyperize - Billy Hoyle

We recently featured a Nike Basketball Fall/Winter 2009 Preview which included some upcoming colorways of Nike Basketball’s latest sneaker, the Nike Hyperize, which has already been given the nickname Hyperdunk 2.0. This pair of the Hyperize is inspired by Billy Hoyle’s role in the 1992 film White Men Can’t Jump. Featuring a white upper with black, blue, and volt accents, this pair yields an overall clean and fresh colorway that is not too crazy or over the top. Though the colors are fresh, the most interesting aspect of this sneaker is most definitely the tongue tag which displays one of the more famous quotes from the aforementioned film, “I’M IN THE F*#@!NG ZONE!”. The “Billy Hoyle” Nike Hyperize is set to release in the upcoming months.

  1. Hey Sneakerfiles Crew,

You should pop up a photo of the shoe that inspired it just for comparison. Maybe even a screen capture from the movie showing Billy Hoyle rockin' them, grey socks and all. It tells a great story and shows the progress.

*Nice to see a new shoe and not any half baked hybrid or retro.
