This past Sunday the Wimbledon came to an end and to celebrate this years Wimbledon, Packer Shoes and Reebok came together on a collab. This isnt the first time Packer Shoes and Reebok have a collab, their last collab featured help from famous street artist Stash who has work with Nike over the past years. The base of the shoe is done in a rough suede giving it a grassy look to the shoe, while purple accents appear on the shoe, a neon yellow pump is used. These should be hitting Packer Shoes sometime in the up coming weeks, so be sure to check them out.

All the way back in November we got a first look at the Reebok “Purple Rain” pack that was slated for a Spring/Summer 2011 release. That pack is inspired by the king of Purple Rain himself, Prince, and consists of a Court Victory Pump and Insta Pump Fury. This pack is finally becoming available from Reebok carriers worldwide. Are you thinking about hopping on this drop?

Today, we have news of the Reebok Court Victory Pump being designed with tonal inspirations from different iconic jacket types. Some of you might recall the colorful Parachute pack we last wrote about in February. For this season’s Jacket pack, Reebok offers us the popular Court Victory Pump. However, instead of being given a parachute feel, these are modeled after a dark brown bomber jacket, yellow rain coat, and a green barn jacket with some spots of plaid lining. Which jacket represented here with the use of the Reebok Court Victory Pump would you say holds the most appeal? These are expected to release from Reebok retailers soon.

Packer Shoes recently teamed up with the Reebok team in order to produce a Pump Court Victory that commemorates the 2011 Australian Open. Sneaker store Kicks Hawaii has chosen to team up with Reebok as well, but in this case as a way of celebrating the store’s 10th anniversary. For the celebration, the teaming has come up with the Pump Court Victory pictured here with a primarily off-white base, green accents and a speckled sole. Kicks Hawaii will release this collaborative sneaker starting February 5th from its flagship store at 1530 Makaloa St. Honolulu, Hawaii 96814. Reebok recently dropped a very limited release with the Zig Slash “Gold Rush.” And next year it seems to want to pay a little more attention to musical inspirations. Next Spring/Summer, Reebok plans to release the Court Victory Pump and Insta Pump Fury pictured here in a purple theme that earns this pack the nickname of “Purple Rain-” Prince’s famous album that also lends inspiration to this release. As you may have already heard, the iconic Reebok Pump system turns twenty this year, and in honor of reaching the two-decade landmark, Reebok has created an elaborate anniversary website, Pump20.com. Featuring a plethora of images, the site is spilt into three headings, ‘Timeline’, ‘Documentary’, and ‘Collaboration’. The ‘Timeline’ tab provides a visual history of Pump technology, as well as a brief explanation of how the system works. ‘Documentary’ displays a twenty-two minute film about the technology that includes interviews with Pump creator Paul Litchfield, and spokespersons Dee Brown and Michael Chang. With sixty second teasers hitting the site every week, the full documentary will be available to stream on November 20th. Last but not least is the ‘Collaboration’ tab. The page features a short video highlighting the works of some of the twenty global affiliate partners who have teamed up with Reebok to create their own version of a Pump model. We’ve already seen images of collaboration efforts with retailers like Solebox and Collete, but the collection in its entirety is set to release on November 20th. The Reebok Spring 2009 Lifestyle Collection is marked by tasteful materials and unfettered color combinations. Releases include the Sir Jam Mid and Sir Jam Low, Running Dual Pump, Court Victory Pump and Omni Lite Pump. The Sir Jams are hitting shelves in a black/yellow/red score and white/orange grey scheme. The Dual Pump Runner is hitting in black/ink blue and white/purple/black/red. The Omni is releasing in a lucid purple/orange/red/black and more refined black/neon green. To finish off the collection, the Court Victory Pump will follow in black/neon green/ink blue.
