Berlin-based boutique Solebox recently partnered up with PUMA to produce a limited version of the brand’s Trinomic-heavy R698. The shoe incorporates a white mesh middle panel and toebox and nylon upper that coordinates nicely with an ’80s inspired grey/powder blue/lilac/black color scheme. More importantly however, the collaborative effort is highlighed by light-up laces that flash when you walk. (LA Gear, anyone?) Featuring a leather and mesh upper lighted up by orange and light blue accents, this pair does not only yield a great colorway, but also includes the trinomic sole system which provides the comfort and flexibility needed to run that extra mile. Most Puma fans will definitely notice that this trinomic sole unit is also included on some of Puma’s more popular models such as the Blaze of Glory and the Disc Blaze.
