When the Kentucky Wildcats knocked off Louisville 69-62 this New Year’s Eve, a special guest was in attendance.

None other than Jay-Z sat courtside Saturday afternoon, rocking the black/pink Air Yeezy 2.

HOV has his – we just have to wait until March to get hands on our own.

The Island Def Jam VP of Lifestyle, Marketing, and Promotions also put his own pair of the “Watch The Throne” LeBron 9 on display via twitter.

Yeezy 2′s and special edition LeBron kicks on the same night?!

With the “Watch The Throne” Tour currently taking the country by storm, hype for the Yeezy 2 has grown exponentially.  Now, however, we have our first look at a pair of kicks to rival Kanye’s.

Pictured here is the special “Watch The Throne” LeBron 9.  The special edition kicks feature a dope black and gold colorway with an inner lining and shoelaces sporting a Riccardo Tissci/Givenchy-esque print.  To top it off, the shoe rocks an ornate gold lace jewel and sits atop an icy translucent sole.

The Jigga man, Jay-Z, who is currently on his “Watch The Throne” tour with Kanye West was recently spotted strolling down the sidewalk of his Tribeca neighborhood rocking a pair of Air Jordan III (3) ‘Black Cement’.

The highly anticipated Black Cement III’s are set to release at retailers on Black Friday.

Jay-Z kept things clean and casual as he wore the Android Homme Propulsion Hi sneakers at a recent charity event. The Black Rock colorway, which released this past Spring 2011, features a rich leather upper, white rubber outsole, black accents around the tongue lining and ankle area, and is complete with its double velcro strap. Moreover, The Shawn Carter Foundation benefit carnival was held on the Hudson River waterfront at Pier 54 in NYC and attracted many of Jay-Z’s close celebrity friends  including Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees, singer, Estelle, and drummer/producer, Questlove to name a few. The event brought in over $1 million dollars which will go toward providing higher education scholarships to urban youth.

A while back, NIGO sold A Bathing Ape to I.T. from Hong Kong. Thus, several fans immediately got to wondering what would happen to NIGO and Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club. Rumor has it that Jay-Z reportedly purchased the licensing rights to produce and distribute all things BBC. However, it seems as though that was mere hyperbole because the latest bit of news says that Jay-Z is simply going to be a partner of the brand from now on. Either way, it seems as though we might be seeing some Jay-Z influenced BBC products soon. How do you feel about this possibility?
