St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and we’ve already seen a GS Nike Air Force 1 and teaser pic of a Supra Vaider high that both commemorate the Irish holiday. Now we have the opportunity to show you the St. Patrick’s Day edition of perhaps the two hottest adidas basketball silhouettes to date- the TS Supernatural Commander & Creator. Both pairs sport a white base, but the green and gold accents run rampant on both shoes as well. The adidas TS Supernatural Commander sports gold lining on the straps and a splash towards the heel area, while green four leaf clovers can be seen throughout. The adidas TS Creator, on the other hand, comes with a green sole, heel and ankle lining, while gold four leaf clovers are seen throughout. Stay on top of your adidas retailers should these drop stateside near you.

Already we’ve seen four pairs of the Nike Air Force 1, a Nike Air Max Lebron VII, and a Nike Zoom Kobe V that all have been designed for the 2010 All-Star Game in Dallas, Texas. Tracy McGrady is not the only big name NBA star to have entered this season looking to make a healthy and successful return to the hardwood. Gilbert Arenas also returned this year after an extended leave, and he too got the Player Exclusive adidas TS Cut Creator treatment. Pictured here is that very adidas silhouette seen around the entire league, but designed specifically with Gilbert Areneas and his Washington Wizards’ colors in mind. As you may or may not know, Agent 0 prefers balling in low-top shoes as does another sharpshooter known as Black Mamba. Recently, Tracy McGrady returned to the Houston Rockets active lineup after an extended recovery period. And adidas has chosen to give him the same treatment it did to Derrick Rose via the adidas TS Cut Creator. Here we relay to you pictures of that same sneaker silhouette but designed for the now healthier T-Mac. It comes in a predominantly white upper with red accents on the midsole, shoe laces, and panels. The superstar’s signature can also be seen on the back heel. One of the latest adidas TS Cut Creator’s to create some noteworthy buzz were the one’s that resulted from an adidas collaboration with CLOT. The pair showed here gets its fame from having been designed for wear by the Chicago Bulls’ phenom Derrick Rose. This pair of TS Cut Creator’s is comprised of a black suede upper, the patented adidas stripes in white, and red accents on the inner lining and sole. The TS Cut Creator is designed for your more slash-and-dash guards, as opposed to the TS Commander LT rocked by big men like Dwight Howard. Regardless of your playing style, these TS Cut Creator’s will start hitting Foot Locker retailers come November.

“What does it mean to come home?” ponders Denver Nuggets floor leader and Colorado native Chauncey Billups. The guard recently peregrinated back to his birthplace after a long stint in Detroit, reinvigorating the city that watched him transform from a three-time “Mr. Basketball” recipient at George Washington High School into a do-everything scorer for the Colorado Buffaloes.

Billups recently teamed up with adidas to manufacture a unique version of the brand’s TS Creator Mid in celebration of Chauncey’s career with the Buffs that’ll be worn in tonight’s Thanksgiving Day game. The shoe is distinguished by glimmering gold upper and personal messages that hearken back to the guard’s days in the Big Twelve. More specifically, the model includes “Go Buffs” on the medial ankle collar and CB’s initials and nickname “Mr. Big Shot” on the lateral side.

The Three Stripes will host an exclusive auction for TS Creator Thanksgiving Day shoe starting on Friday, November 28, 2008. Only 11 pairs, exact replicas of the pair worn by Chauncey on Tofurkey Day, will be numbered and autographed by Billups. All proceeds will go to the Porter-Billups Leadership Academy, a local Denver academic institute providing disadvantaged youth optimal opportunities and resources to achieve success and receive diplomas. Billups has been actively involved it all elements of the non-profit organization since 2006.

In a trade that seemingly came out of left field, veteran guard Allen Iverson of the Denver Nuggets was shipped to the Detroit Pistons for clutch shooting guard Chauncey Billups, reliable forward Antonio McDyess, and rookie Cheikh Samb. I wondered whether adidas and Reebok would be ready to suit up their two signature studs in footwear to match their new uniforms–each company had only days to manufacture new product for their players. Saturday night provided us with an answer, (Pun not intended!) with Billups rocking out in a Pistons-themed blue/red/white iteration of his adidas TS Creator Mid and Iverson switching between the ’07 and Answer XII (7). Both athletes have been rewarded significantly by their sponsor companies, each recieving their own product for the 2008 season. (CB recieves only his own colorway, mind you.
