I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; being down with the Jumpman certainly has its perks. Tonight, on Instagram, Chris Paul showed us another example of that, by giving us a sneak peek at one of Clippers teammate DaJuan Summers’ pairs of kicks from his days at Georgetown University (a school that happens to be endorsed by Jordan Brand), the Air Jordan IV (4) Retro PE “Georgetown”.
Featuring a grey nubuck upper with dark blue accents, these shoes are given the special treatment seen on the Air Jordan IV PE “UNC”, only with a Georgetown twist; the African tribal print found on the Georgetown Hoyas’ basketball jerseys can be found on the midsole and lining, while a Hoyas logo is seen on the tongue. Most definitely a banger under anyone’s definition of the word, these are probably making your head spin right now if you happen to be from the DMV (as I am; must…finish…article…).
What do you think of this PE from DaJuan Summers? Would you like to see Jordan Brand release some of the PE’s they’ve made for their college teams and affiliates (“Marquette”, “Oregon”, etc.) to the public? Let us know in the comments below, and hit the jump for another look at these bangers, as well as some of the other PE’s we’ve seen this year from Jordan Brand teams.
