This rendition is inspired by another 1990s classic model that Durant is a fan of. This Nike KD 17 comes dressed in a University Gold, Black, and Safety Orange color combination. Resembling a sunrise, the shoes are inspired by the Air Max Plus by the use of colors. Furthermore, the wavy vertical lines that run up the panels are also taken from the silhouette. We also have KD’s logo on the tongues and forefoot Zoom cushioning. An Orange to Yellow gradient adorns the overlays with a solid Black Swoosh on the panels. Around the heel is White leather with perforations and mesh on the toe.
