In mid-March we showed you a couple of screen shots of the Under Armour Prototype 2 that Brandon Jennings would be lacing up to prove his worth in while on the NBA courts. But before those came the Under Armour Prototype, which Brandon still laces up with regularity as well. Now we’d like to show you an Under Armour Prototype Player Exclusive designed for Brandon Jennings that sports a predominantly white base with slight black accents by way of a patent leather toe cap and red ones by way of things such as the shoe laces and ankle lining. Enjoy more pictures of this shoe after the jump, as we continue to see what Under Armour can produce now that it has such a charismatic, young face of its sneaker line.

Yesterday, we incorrectly reported that the Micro G Fly appeared in the new Brandon Jennings “I Will” commercial, when in fact it was the Prototype 2. (Yes, even the Godz make mistakes . . .) In any event, a black leather/patent red style and an all-black with white accents style of the shoe appear on BJ’s feet in the commercial. A known release date for either pair remains unknown. Brandon’s stellar play this season has far exceeded the expectations of most hoops pundits and is a major reason the unsung Milwaukee Bucks are slotted 5th in the Eastern Conference Playoffs race. This new commercial from Under Armour features cameos of BJ’s new shoe, the Micro G Fly, (of which there is still no release date) in the gym and film room. In October we ran across a picture of a collection of Under Armour Prototypes seemingly designed for use by a number of Division I NCAA basketball teams. Once again, thanks to Twitter (this time Brandon Jennings’ account), we now are able to show you a sneak peek of what is reportedly the third installment of the phenomenal young point guard’s shoe line with Under Armour- the “Young Buck” Prototype 3. The particular pair pictured here seems to sport a predominantly black upper with perforated design on the mid panel and a white sole that matches the white Under Armour logo seen towards the front, outer part of the shoe. Brandon Jennings Under Armour shoes have been in the spotlight ever since the rookie dropped 55 points on November 12th vs. Golden State. Jennings is the first NBA player to be endorsed by Under Armour and already his signature shoe is hissing with steam. “Young Buck” is the nickname of Jennings’ sneakers, as Jennings stars for the Milwaukee Bucks. Though the rookie is suffering through a minor shooting slump, he still leads all rookies in scoring. ESPN even changed last Friday nights telecast, deciding broadcast Bucks vs. Thunder and drop its originally scheduled Suns vs. T’Wolves match-up. Bob reports in his issue #21 “Let ‘Em Marinate” column that Under Armour has plans to delay the release of their b-ball lineup until 2011. Even with the lag, the Baltimore, Maryland outfit will equip several Division 1 and AAU squads with special make-ups of the BB Protoype this winter and next summer. I’m particularly smitten with the shoe’s aesthetics and material combinations, so all of the pairs pictured above look lovely. Via: Bounce.
