In 2020, Salehe Bembury launched his first collaboration with New Balance and will continue his success with the brand. Once again, the two will come together on another New Balance 2002R collaboration that will launch in 2021.

So far, we only have a preview that he shared on his Instagram with the following caption, “Water,” which could be the inspiration for this pair. Next, we have Teal suede used instead of Orange used on his ‘Peace be the Journey’ pair. Also, Neon Green detailing runs throughout, including the fingerprint pattern on the heel. Finally, a splatter print adorns the midsole to finish the look.

Update (6/4): New Balance has announced that the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 2002R ‘Water Be The Guide’ will release on June 25th for $150. The colorway is inspired by Arizona’s Havasu Falls waterfall and comes with a shearling ’N’ logo constructed with suede, leather, and mesh. Also, Bembury shared a promotional video which you can see below.
