Originally debuting in 1997, the Jumpman Pro was highly sought after by ballplayers for its superior build quality and awesome technical properties. The shoe was quite prevalent in the League, as early Team Jordan members such as Kevin Garnett and Vinny Baker rolled with the shoe on-court. Reissued for the ’08 season, the Pro incorporates a densely padded foam heel collar for added support on lateral movements. Down below, the product is distinguished by a full-length Phylon midsole, which is coupled with a forefoot-oriented Zoom Air Bag and heel regionalized DHIP unit. Bantam point guard Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets has been sporting a pair of black/teal J.P’s on the road this year, much to the delight of heads from across the Interweb.
