The Nike Dunk was first made as a basketball shoe, but as the years past was later transformed into a skateshoe, due to the fact that most skaters prefered the Dunk. This lead to the birth of Nike SB and its Nike SB Dunk models, and with great success in both the skate and the fashion world, the brand expanded. With 2011 aproaching, Nike SB thinks it time for a change. Starting in 2011 all Nike SB Dunks will feature a modified bottom sole, with a new pattern on the fore foot and heel for better traction. Even the inner lining padding has improved, with a more padding to help keep the foot in place.
