The Nike Air Zoom Generation ‘First Game’ will retro for the first time from Nike Basketball and was worn by LeBron James during his first NBA game on October 29th, 2003.
In LeBron James’ first game, he and the Cleveland Cavaliers played against the Sacramento Kings on the road. In his first outing, he scored 25 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 steals in 42 minutes. Although he had a strong game, the Cavs wound up losing to the Kings with the final score being 106-92.
This Nike Air Zoom Generation comes dressed in the original colorway of White, Varsity Crimson and Black. Constructed with a heel max Air unit and Zoom Air in the forefoot, they also will have Nike’s sphere liner. Paying tribute to the First Game, they are expected to have the date of LeBron’s first game stitched on the collar which is 10-29-2003.
Nike Air Zoom Generation First Game Release Date
The Nike Air Zoom Generation First Game Retro is scheduled to release at select Nike Sportswear retailers on August 26th, 2017. Retail price will be $175. Once we have additional information, we will make sure to update you.
Also launching in October is the original ‘Black‘ pair which means that all three original colorways worn by LeBron James during his Rookie season will have officially retro.
