Over the past few weeks, you may have seen commercials featuring Santa Claus promoting the upcoming Christmas NBA games. Through the commercials, Santa tries to join a team and even endures some trash talking from other players. In the latest segment, Mr. Claus announces that he has signed a deal with Nike and has his own signature sneaker, the Nike Air Kringle.
To hoopers and sneakerheads, we instantly know this pair is actually the Nike Hyperdunk 2015. Instead of Nike actually producing a pair, ESPN actually had the sneakers customized and who was summoned to customize this pair? None other than Mache. Designed with your traditional Christmas colors of red and green, Santa’s signature is seen on the midsole. Other details include an elf hat that wraps the collar and some metallic silver accents.
