You either love or hate the adidas Yeezy 750 Boost, and it’s obvious what YouTuber Mahrun Karkvandeian thinks of them.
At the begining of the video Mahrun goes on a rant about the Yeezy Boost, but makes some valid points. The ones that stuck out to us are “If Nike had it’s name on it and Kanye didn’t make it, they would be sitting on shelfs”. While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, we do believe the hype was built behind Kanye designing them. He also talks about the resell prices which are upwards to $5,000 which is a problem.
On the flip side of things, playing devils advocate, could the same thing be said about the Nike Yeezy 1 and 2? Some may agree to that. As well, the reselling is part of the sneaker culture. Most don’t agree with it and is frowned upon, it does happen and people are forking out the cash.
Not only does Mahrun dip the adidas Yeezy Boost in liquid nitrogen, he then smashes it with a sledge hammer. When only the midsole is destroyed, he takes a lighter and what appears to be hair spray (calling it a flamethrower) and finishes the job.
