First Sneaker Shop in Utah 10

Salt Lake City, UT – There’s a new digit in town at 9th & 9th, and for those looking for unique and fresh styles in street fashion; we’ve got your number. It is 10, an original boutique specializing in fresh street kicks and threads for the fashion-forward.

10 is the brain-child of SLC’s own Annie Hawkins. Annie has blended her street cred with her international experience as a professional soccer player to create an urban retail concept pulsing with real global vibe. Annie grew up in Salt Lake City playing soccer at Judge Memorial Catholic High School. She earned a soccer scholarship to Gonzaga University with her twin sister Sarah, to play for the top college soccer conference in the Nation. Annie became one of the West Coast Conference’s best players making 1st team All-WCC her Junior and Senior year. She was also a member of the Women’s National Select Team for two years. After her college graduation, she and Sarah were recruited to play for the top Women’s Professional League in the world. They played for QBIK, a team located in Karlstad, Sweden making them some of Utah’s first female professional soccer players. Soon after their return, Annie began her business plan.

The emphasis at 10 is on hard-to-find sneakers and apparel with street and European style. It’s the only place in Utah to get exclusive labels like Adidas Originals Metro, Asics Onitsuka Tiger, and designs by OKI-NI of London. 10 is the only retail store in the nation to carry the Adidas OKI-NI collaboration, a line of Adidas products that Annie ran across in Stockholm during her professional soccer career. Adidas and Oki-Ni collaborate on sneaker designs and release only a limited number making them one-of-a-kind products that sneaker collectors all over the world can appreciate.

10 is also home to a “design your own shoe studio”. Pick out a pair of all white shoes and customize them. Use the art supplies provided at 10 and express your creativity on your feet.

The diverse collection at 10 also provides cool accessories and apparel with looks that are hip and fresh and decidedly different from any other outlet in the city. For example, 10 is the only store in Utah to carry 10 streetwear lines like: Freshjive, Obey Clothing, 3Sixteen, Foreign Family, Mikasi, Triko, GRN Apple Tree, and more.

“I wanted to bring together the influences of international urban trends, along with the styles of the east and west coast to our city” said Annie. “10 will give Salt Lake City a new perspective and revitalize its fashion scene.”

10 has trainers for the serious athlete, sneakers for sneaker collectors, as well as “kicks” for those looking for something fashionable, but comfortable. 10 appeals to the market of consumers who can’t find what they want in the chain stores, specializing in style-conscious, unique, and hard-to-find footwear and apparel. It blends well with the youthful, urban feel of 9th and 9th, home to the Tower Theater, The Coffee Garden, and other stores that are well-known as alternatives to the malls of suburbia. Check 10 out. Now open at 9th & 9th.
