Jordan Brand’s 2027 lineup is shaping up to be another strong year of releases. Yes, we will see new colorways. However, we will have our fair share of original and older retros return. If you’re a fan of the mid-2000s retros, then the good news is that the “Black Laser” Air Jordan 4 will return in Spring 2027. One of two “Laser” releases in 2005, the “White Laser” Air Jordan 4 will also return in 2027.
The “Black Laser” Air Jordan 4 was originally released in August 2005 and was the second release of the “Laser” series. Unlike the “White Laser” pair, the “Black Laser” did not come with a t-shirt and a hat. However, it did retail for less at $175.
As Jordan Brand continues to keep color descriptions under wraps, the pair is listed to have a Black and Multi-Color color combination. However, you can expect the same colors and placement as the original release. This Air Jordan 4 features Black leather across the upper that’s covered in laser print. Red detailing lands on the Jumpman, liner, and inside of the tongue. Black mostly covers the midsole, but it does have Grey areas. Grey also covers the heel tab, while all three colors will cover the rubber outsole.

Another classic pair I couldn’t get in the mid-2000s, and I 100% plan on grabbing when it returns. This was a great era of retro releases, when the brand experimented with new ideas and designs. It was unfortunate that the shoes were limited, and after they sold out, which didn’t take long, they went for a lot of money. Nowadays, they aren’t wearable, so people who own the original will be happy to see the pair return.
