adidas will also have a Black History Month collection for 2016 and one of the releases will be the adidas J Wall 2 ‘BHM’. John Wall’s signature shoe and others will debut during the month of January.
The J Wall 2 BHM is a nod to USA sprinted Jesse Owens who had an outstanding outing in the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
Through the midsole, the brand went with white while the mudguard will feature the same shade with a rough suede finish. A tarnished metallic gold seeps through the heel, toe and by the collar which also dawns black. Other details include 773 in metallic gold on the tongue which was Jesse Owens number, 1936 inscribed on the insole and the outsole will feature a milky off-white. Looking closely, you will notice a very subtle camouflage print on the liner and back of the tongue. On the inside of the tongue is ‘Frances’ which pays tribute to Wall’s mother, Frances Pulley.
adidas J Wall 2 BHM Release Date
The ‘BHM’ adidas J Wall 2 will release well in-time for Black History Month which will land at adidas retailers on January 15th, 2016. Retail price will be $115 and since this is a general release, finding your size upon launching should be easy. Below are a few more images taking you a bit closer.
