IPATH skate company has a treat for us today with a sweet preview of their Locust skate shoe. The IPATH Locust comes in two colorways: black/purple/blue and yellow/black/grey. These Mids follow a similar construction to that of a Nike Dunk Mid SB, but with IPATH’s logos in their rightful places. The first pair uses an all leather upper, while the other features a mix of black and yellow leather and grey suede at the toebox and side panel. Both use some simple white and black soles to finish off these durable skate shoes. Also, they come with stash pockets to keep that little something protected. Get your own Locust in January 2010.

While most of us are aware of the Baron Davis Li-Ning signature sneaker series, he is not the only NBA player in a contract with the Chinese sneaker company. In fact, you can now add Toronto Raptors point guard Jose Calderon to the list of NBA ballers with their own Li-Ning PE. Pictured here is number 8’s Li-Ning PE in a black/red colorway. It dons the Spanish point guard’s number 8 on the inside ankle area, while a small depiction of Calderon in his patented 3 fingers pose fills the top of the shoe’s tongue. Finally, the Li-Ning team pays homage to Calderon’s hometown of Spain by placing a silhouette of the country’s flag underneath the shoe’s sole. With no word of a stateside release, here are pictures of the shoe that might or might not make its way to the U.S. If you had the chance to, would you be inclined to try out a pair?

The UNDFTD x Gourmet Quattro Not For Nothing edition comes in a classic white/black/red colorway, utilizing an all white full epi leather upper. UNDFTD placed their bars logo on the side ankle for a subtle shoutout to their brand. “NFN” is placed at the tongue tag and heel to represent the series. Red laces nicely offset the white upper and black panels, making this a worth pick on the menu.

As many of our followers might know, Baron Davis and Brandon Jennings are not the only players in a sneaker contract with a less popular brand, (Li-Ning and Under Armour, respectively). Ron Artest joined the Peak brand a few years back, and now there are shots of the baller’s signature basketball sneaker- although they are not in the Los Angeles Lakers colorway. These come in a predominantly white base with sky blue stitching as well as black on the heel and Peak logo. Moreover, there is a snakeskin pattern on the midsole and Xcel-U label going down the tongue and underneath the shoe. Lastly, these come in a box with the words “I CAN PLAY” on it, leading many to almost inevitably nickname these the “I Can Play.” What do you guys think of what Peak has cooked up for Ron Artest? Let us know after the jump, and check out more pictures of this shoe.

But, the Gucci love still keeps going, as luxury shoe company Creative Recreation has taken a stab at the classic black/red/green design. The Creative Recreation Dicoco comes in the classic Gucci colorway for the low and high top versions. Both versions use black leather at the toe, black mesh at the side, and colored nubuck for the red and green tones. White midsoles and classic gumsoles keep it simple for these luxury items. Both are available now at CR retailers such as Wish ATL; $95 for the low and $105 for the high.

KangaROOS is bouncing back with its shoe game for next year. The shoe company teamed up with Sneakerness to start off the KangaROOS Heritage Series with a bang, resulting in the Sneakerness x KangaROOS Slam Dunk in two classic colorways. The Slam Dunk resembles the Nike Air Force 1 High, with its placement of panels, midsole, and iconic outsole. The colorways come in white/red and black/white/gum. These throwbacks definitely carry a vintage basketball feel. “Sneakerness” is tagged on the tongue under KangaROOS to complete these collabos. These Slam Dunks are limited to 80 pairs per colorway, and will be available at select retailers this week.

Earlier today we caught word of BMX rider Rick Thorne getting his own signature shoe series with the Draven brand. Now, thanks to Bike Reviews, we have a look at the holiday 2009 collection of four pairs of the Osiris South Bronx, all of which are suited to help the everyday rider feel comfortable/secure and call attention to something other than just their tricks. The colorways included are black/black, black/grey, black/sky blue/royal blue, and elephant purple/black/teal. A word of advice- probably because the South Bronx is a rather padded shoe, it tends to run small enough to make you think about purchasing your pair(s) 1/2 a size bigger than usual. Each pair will cost you $78.
