Kanye West will launch his first sneaker since departing with the Three Stripes brand. Now available for pre-order is the YZY PODS, a shoe that extends up like a sock and covers most of your calves.

Kanye West is back in the sneaker world, but not the way you may think. With the upcoming launch of the “Vultures” album by ¥$ (Ye x Ty Dolla $ign) and the assigned designer Gosha Rubchinskiy as its Head of Design, Yeezy has introduced the YZY POD, a sock-like shoe.
What makes this release more exciting is that it is the first release since the departure from adidas in 2022. While some say Kanye West should have started releasing shoes on his own a year ago, it’s never too late. Furthermore, his first pair is described as the “foldable future” and comes in all-Black. Highlighted with a sock-like design with a foldable knit upper. From the photos, the shoes also lack branding, allowing for a sleek look. Another feature is that due to the material, you can easily fold them up, leaving more room when you travel or in general.
