While the dust settles for all the hype on the Grape Air Jordan 5‘s, we all have another model to anticipate, the Air Jordan 5 Aqua aka Black Grapes.
Comparing the Aqua Air Jordan V to the OG Grapes, everything is identical even down to the colorway. Except we have the obvious black nubuck uppers while Grape had white leather.
As most of you know, this is the first time this colorway will release. One simple change on the uppers gives the shoe a different feel and look.
Now to the details, the Jordan 5 Aquas use a predominate black upper made of nubuck, new emerald hits the midsole, Jumpman logo on the tongue, sole and heel. Grape ice blesses the midsole also, top of the tongue.
Originally, Jordan Brand was releasing the Aqua aka Black Grape V’s on June 1st 2013, but the date was pushed back to June 15th giving everyone some time to set some money aside. Retail is $160. You can stop by KickSole.com and pick up your size.
