Growing up, “Christmas” was often times synonymous with “toys” for us kids. Well, New Balance decided that just because we’ve gotten older doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun. Having just collaborated with Nine West, I’m sure much to females’ delight, New Balance seems to have decided to cater to our inner children next. This time around, New Balance teamed up with Tamiya, which makes RC toy cars, and produced the New Balance 574 model pictured here. This design features stars instead of your run-of-the-mill shoe lace eyelets and a patent leather orange upper with white and black as complementary colors, as well as an embroidered #49 on the tongue. Drawing inspiration from the Dash-1 Emperor toy car, this New Balance 574 could very well be your latest edition to the Christmas wish list.
