adidas continues to surprise us with All Star releases with the biggest one not being a basketball shoe. Now Pharrell comes in to design an adidas Originals Superstar 80s that will only release in New York City.
According to the press release, the Superstar 80s by Pharrell was created from his appreciation of native cultures. We have a black leather as it’s base, a handcrafted multi-colored beading that is inspired by Bolivian crafts. One the medial side the adidas three stripes logo also uses the same beaded treatment. Lastly the insole will feature Pharrell’s signature design.
The adidas Superstar 80s by Pharrell will release only in NYC on February 14th.
