Nike Kobe Zoom II ST USA Edition

Even though Kobe Bryant and the LA Lakers are out of the playoffs that does not mean the Nike Kobe Zoom II will stop production. This Nike Kobe Zoom II is the ST USA Edition featuring colors of Team USA and what looks like suede. Not much more is known yet about the Nike Kobe II ST USA Edition other than it says they are a Limited Edition. Via Jordan8420.

  4. I have never been a fan of Kobe and his persona but as a player he's one of the best. Dude game is retarded, crazy handles, mad "D", stoopid crossover, and the J is sick. Alot of people may not like him as a person but his game speaks for itself.

  8. Hands down, Kobe is the best, most talented baller to walk onto a court since MJ. I'll get hated on for this, But kobe does stuff MJ never did and IMO, at the end of his career he will be better than MJ. The best player to put on a jersey.

    As far as the kicks, I have the laker color Sheaths(ultimates) and the orcas(strengths). Together the most comfortable BBall shoes ever. With the strengths a bit better. But both are better than the AJXX2 and the LBJ4. USA colors are FIRE. Definately coppin. Along with the white/silver sheaths.

  10. hate the player but don't hate the shoes. these are some of the best I've ever played in. so much better than the AJXXII. being a big guy I liked the feel of the LJ4s and the "Free" type sole but they are wicked heavy. The KB2 have an even better sole and feel a hell of a lot lighter. I bought one pair to play in now and can't wait till they end up in the outlets like the KB1s did. Please don't buy them so I can get them for $35 in a few months.

  11. I back up what theprofromdover said. These are for the serious hoopers. I work at Niketown and the minute I saw them I was impressed. Even more so when I tried them on. With the Free tech, zoom air, and light weight feel of the shoe, those shoes are a must have. Yeah, the man has some integrity issues, but the shoes are tight. What's up w/ the strengths? I haven't heard anything about those yet?

  12. its hard to compare the ZKII and the ZKI for me. when the ZKI was released we got the all star(wht/blk/red) along with the MPLS (flint/unv blue/wht) And within the next month we got the blk/wht/blk and the black out (blk/purp/wht) AND the shark fins (wht/silv/wht). In order of what sold the best: #1 All stars #2 MPLS #3 Black/white #4 Sharks #5 Black Out . Never got the black mambas. All in all, the ZKI sold pretty well. After the black outs were released, alot of people thought the black with purple was really ugly and people would ask for the other colors that we didnt have sizes of and the sales slowed down and we sent them away to the outlets.

    With the ZKII, it seems like nike is spreading it out more and causing alot more interest by making different versions… with that said, its hard to tell now how they will compare in the end. Cause we got the 2 colors of the sheaths and the strengths. That have all sold pretty good. The black/maize have sold the best, the wht/maize/purp have sold ok, and the strengths we just got about 2 weeks ago and havent had much advertising but theyre getting the most people grabbing them off the wall and saying how tight they are. Most people that try them on, Love them and buy them, the rest, love them and cant afford them. I had some dude try them on and love them so much, once he looked at the price and realized he couldnt afford it, he called his mom to come down from vancouver(a good hour and a half away from where I am) and buy them for him.

    Rumors are there are at least a color or 2 more of the sheaths releasing(after the white/silver). The USA strengths will release(not a rumor), and the lites have yet to be released, so it will get interesting. We will be getting the white/silver sheaths and those are going to sell great from what i've heard. and i am praying we get the USA strengths so i dont have to order them from another store.

  13. Thanks for the heads up KB24istheish. How would you rate the sell through compared to the KB1. I love that shoe and have 6 pair on ice. I found them at the outlet for $30-$50 and again they were the best shoe out last year but every one slept on them because the were Kobe’s.

    Laz360 the KB2 ST are the Sheaths with some straps across the ankle and instep for better lock down and support. If I recall there will be an ultra light KB2 coming out in a couple of months (he was supposed to wear them in the play-offs). I think Nike called the three shoes Kobe's "Weapons of War" or something along those lines. I think there is an interview on youtube explaining the campaign. Each shoe is supposed to be another “weapon” in Kobe’s “arsenal” allowing him to better tailor his shoe to the type of game he was going to play.

  15. I was about to buy the KB1's at the outlet a couple of weeks ago, but decided to go with the Air Max Tempo instead. It was a more rarer find. The KB1's were a little too bulky for me, but the cushioning was great. The KB2 is better in my opinion.

    yeah kobe is good but IMO him and steve nash on a 1 on 1 kobe would win but steve and kobe 2v2 anybody in the world….steves team would win.

    being selfish cuz u know dat ur team is struggling and they are depending on someone that can help them push the tempo up like wats happenin all the time with the lakers.. all u kobe haters shud ponder and focus on their games.. if kobe passes say for example to smush, does he make the shot? maybe yes.. but not consistently..

    the other being selfish is u know that ur team can also make a difference but ur still carrying the load by urself..

    as far as i can see lakers roster, hampered by injuries and such unorganized team chemistry, it really is hard for the team and Kobe as well to work together.. so, being the veteran and a player who knows Coach Phil's plays, he's really takin the leadership status to make the play happen.. and like wat Coach PJ says, theres such a thing as "KOBE TIME".. Meaning, he has the license to shoot..

  37. Kobe is the G.O.A.T. 4 yall youngstas that don't know that means that's GREATEST OF ALL TIME. I have been around for a minute(37 years) and I have seen a lot of good players and some great ones but, KB IS SIMPLY THE BEST. As far as the shoes go, Nike couldn't have done a better job. The KB1 and KB2'S are two of the hottest pair of sneakers ever assembled. Yes I am a diehard Laker fan and have been since the Magic, Kareem, and Worthy era and I am not biased to Kobe because I am a Laker fan so don't get it twisted, I just keep it real. You haters and fakers out there continue to hate on Kobe because all you are doing is adding fuel to the fire. Anybody who watches Basketball and not just the highlights on sportscenter know Kobe was robbed of the M.V.P. two seasons straight, but it's cool (fuel to the fire). Kobe, and yes the Los Angeles Lakers will be world Champions again and Kobe will get the M.V.P. he has deserved.
