The Nike KD 9 ‘Fire & Ice’ is an upcoming Kids exclusive that takes a trip down memory lane for Kevin Durant.
Known as ‘Fire and Ice’, this Nike KD 9 goes back in-time when Durant was a kid back home in Maryland when practicing in the winter. While playing, Durant’s hands would be ice cold. When he tried to warm them up with hot water, it gave his hands a burning sensation.
Taking the theme literal, one shoe comes in an Icy Blue while the other comes in Red. The tongue tab will alternate colors while completed with an icy sole.
Nike KD 9 GS Fire Ice Release Date
The ‘Fire & Ice’ Nike KD 9 will release at select Nike Basketball retailers like NikeStore.com, Kids Foot Locker, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Nike San Francisco on November 11th, 2016.
