Recently, it seems unquestionably true that most of the Nike Dunk silhouettes to get any substantial attention and coverage come from the brand’s SB line. Already we’ve been introduced to creations like the medium grey/varsity red-blue Nike Dunk SB high and the “Oceanic Airlines” Nike SB Dunk high that very few people had even the slightest idea about. But the pair of non-SB Nike Dunk highs pictured here is sure to revert some of that attention back to the original Dunk model. Already made available at select Nike retailers, this sneaker sports a colorway sure to remind many of the Los Angeles Lakers team colors due to the use of purple and yellow. Nylon and mesh materials are used along the upper, while black panels surround the toe box, mid panel and heel. Aside from the customary white midsole, OG sneaker fans, among others, will surely get a kick out of the gum bottoms that this colorway’s soles come in. So if you like what you see be sure to check-in with your favorite local Nike retailer(s) to find out when they’ll be receiving this pair if at all. Is this Nike Dunk high better than any of the Nike Dunk SBs floating around the internet creating quite the stir lately?

  1. I don't know if a lot of people will buy these. I wouldnt. The materials are cool but the colors dont do it justice.
