Nike is bringing back new colorways of The Glove after recently returning the original Black and White colorway. Now, the โRoyal Blueโ will make its return for the first time since 2014. The model was one of the more unusual basketball shoes of its era, mainly because of the zippered shroud that covers the laces and wraps around the foot.
The โRoyal Blueโ colorway of the Nike Air Zoom Flight The Glove keeps the same design but changes the overall appearance. Royal Blue covers the majority of the upper and the zippered shroud. White leather appears on the sides, while large White Swoosh logos provide contrast. Additional White detailing lands on the zipper closure, while Black accents complete parts of the design. โThe Gloveโ branding appears on the heel as a nod to Gary Paytonโs famous nickname.
