As of late, Nike Sportswear has been showing love to Andre Agassi’s line, specifically the Air Tech Challenge 2. So far, we have seen two original colorways return, the “Hot Lava” and “Racer Pink” iterations, and soon, the “Tart” will arrive at retailers. For fans of the silhouette, another pair is dropping again: the “Pixel Court” Nike Air Tech Challenge 2.
Originally released in 1990, the 2025 pair is similar to the original. However, it’s not perfect. The pixelated pattern on the panels is different from the 1990 pair, while the shape is also slightly off. Still, this is a solid iteration of the shoe. The last time the pair launched was in 2014.
This classic Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 features a White, Royal Blue, Laser Crimson, Platinum Tint, and Pale Ivory color scheme. The shoes feature White leather across the upper with perforations on the toe box and panels. Highlighting the pair is Crimson pixels on the panels with a Blue backdrop. In addition, Royal Blue adorns the Swoosh logos on the panels, while Nike branding in Crimson and a White gradient graces the tongue labels. Like past releases, this pair comes with an aged midsole.
