Nike Air Max Foamdome “Eggplant” Returns November 2026

The Nike Air Max Foamdome “Eggplant” will return on November 5, 2026. Originally released in 2008, the Foamdome combines elements of the Foamposite with the Air Max Goadome boot. The “Eggplant” colorway was last released in 2016, and the 2026 version will retail for $265.

Nike created the Foamdome for colder weather, giving the model a much heavier build than a traditional Air Max sneaker. The molded upper takes inspiration from the Foamposite, while the higher boot-like construction and rugged outsole come from the ACG Goadome.

For its return, the “Eggplant” keeps the color blocking close to the 2016 version. Electro Purple covers the molded shell across most of the upper, while Black appears on the leather eyestays, toe, tongue, collar, and laces. Purple Swoosh branding adds another hit of color, while the black midsole exposes several purple-tinted Air units

The Nike Air Max Foamdome was also built with winter wear in mind. Its higher cut provides additional coverage around the ankle, while the molded shell helps protect the upper from the elements. A rugged rubber outsole with deep traction patterns gives the boot a more suitable setup for outdoor conditions.
