Nike Air Max 95 “Comet Red” Returns Summer 2026

The Nike Air Max 95 OG “Comet Red” will be released in Summer 2026. An original colorway that was initially launched in 1995, the 2026 pair will retail for $200.

Nike Sportswear will continue to ride the wave of the Air Max 95 hype well into 2026. As the brand continues to bring back original and older retros of the silhouette, we will have the “Comet Red” Air Max 95 returning in Summer 2026.

The “Comet Red” iteration is an original colorway that was initially released in 1995. Over the years, the pair has only been re-released twice. Once in 2003 and in 2010. In 2021, Nike released a similar pair exclusively overseas. However, the pair wasn’t identical to the OG pair. We can expect the 2026 pair to feature Sergio Lozano’s classic design and will incorporate the bigger Air Max unit.

First reported by bubblekoppe, we can confirm that the “Comet Red” Air Max 95 OG will return in Summer 2026 with a big bubble.

This Nike Air Max 95 is dressed in a White, Comet Red, Neutral Grey, Medium Grey, and Black color scheme. Highlighted with a Black to Grey to White gradient across the panels and a White mesh on the upper. Comet Red appears on the eyelets, Swoosh, tongue branding, and is placed within the Air Max unit. The look is completed with a White midsole and a Black rubber outsole. It isn’t confirmed if the 2026 pair will feature 25 PSI on the Air Max unit.

The Nike Air Max 95 OG “Comet Red” will be released in Summer 2026 at select Nike Sportswear retailers and online via Nike, Foot Locker, Finish Line, Shiekh, and Hibbett.
