New Balance will be adding Multicolor treatment to one of their classic running retro models, the 996 which will be a women’s exclusive release.
The New Balance 996 ‘Multicolor’ features exactly that, multiple colors through the base of blue, green and pink that make for a unique mirage. For contrast, NB then added black to the branding, laces, heel counter and by the collar. Following is a shade of teal that lands on the liner, outlining the ‘N’ logo and placed on the tongue branding. Other details include a partial white midsole and gold speckles on the outsole and sole.
Currently the ‘Multicolor’ New Balance 996 is available overseas at women’s exclusive store Naked, but it isn’t known when a stateside release will take place. Below are additional images giving you an up close look.
