Recently Mizzee Customs was commissioned by none other than The Sneaker Champ aka Gilbert Arenas.

Arenas wanted a custom pair of kicks to bust out for the NBA Playoffs, and who else would be better suited for the task than Mizzee. Unfortunately Gilbert planned on wearing these customs in Orlando’s Game 7 home game, which as well all know did not happen. Mizzee rendered the look for the NBA to approve, and once they did he went to work.

The shoe itself has been designed to commemorate past Magic stars who donned the #1. Pinstripes were added to the midsole to signify the Penny Hardaway years, as they are one of the most iconic uniforms to feature the classic pinstripes. Back in the ’02-’03 season, the Magic had T-Mac on their squad. Those uniforms featured stars running up and down the front and back which were added, very creatively, to the blue and white panels of the Air Jordan VI custom.

To top it all off the Orlando Magic logo was placed on the heels to give it that finishing touch, which looks incredible by the way.

Take a look at all the images of what was once an ‘Oreo’ Air Jordan VI Retro which has been artistically transformed into one of the best customs I’ve ever seen.
