A surprising press release was issued today that officially announced the partnership between Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny coming back again. As sneakerheads, we already knew this. The two first linked up during the 1992 season, 23 years ago and 2015 marks the 23rd anniversary. So far we have seen images of the Air Jordan 1 Mid and Air Jordan 7 ‘Hare’, but the brand also promises releases celebrating the anniversary.
Furthermore, an Air Jordan 7 will drop inspired by Marvin the Martian also apart of the Looney Tunes. So this leads us to believe that more characters will be features across Jordan’s through the year. Maybe we are jumping to a conclusion, but does this mean the Space Jam Jordan 11 will return also?
The press release did not mention any sneakers but said “Jordan Brand will release an array of footwear and apparel in new and original silhouettes globally.” We will continue to keep you up to date on all future collaborations between Jordan Brand, Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes.
