Reebok Classic has teamed up with Phoenix based sneaker specialists High Point to create a one of a kind Ventilator Supreme, named in honor of one of the town’s historic founders “Lord” Darrell Duppa.
Much like Reebok, English born pioneer Lord Duppa made his way to the United States from Great Britain. He landed in the town he is credited and famed for naming, Phoenix, where he settled as his home. The Reebok Classic Ventilator Supreme sneaker pays homage to the Duppa homestead built circa 1870 that is still standing in Phoenix today.
Drawing design inspiration from the colors and shades of the birthplace, these tones lend themselves nicely to a premium mix of nu-buck leather and ballistic nylon. A tan colored upper reflects the sun-washed adobe exterior walls of the structure with shades of light and dark grey integrated through-out the design capturing the dried out wood components of the roof and structure. Not forgetting the 90’s technical running heritage of the Ventilator Supreme, this shoe still offers the original reflective hits and Hexalite cushioning to create a comfortable and stylish kick.
The Reebok Classic x High Point Ventilator Supreme ‘Lord Duppa’ is available now exclusively at High point and select reebok classics retailers globally. Retail price is $119.99.
