First Look: Air Jordan VI (6) Retro - Black / Infrared

Earlier this year, we brought you the news that an Air Jordan VI (6) Infrared Package was set to drop in June 2010, and we are now proud to present a sample image of the Black/Infrared AJ 6 from the aforementioned package. This pair yields an extremely similar style to the Black/Varsity Red Air Jordan 6 that released earlier this year, with the change of varsity red to infrared being the only difference. Nonetheless, the sneaker features a black suede upper with infrared hits on the midsole and rear halo, while the outsole comes clean and icey. Please not that this Air Jordan VI (6) Retro – Black/Infrared is only a sample, and changes may be made before it is eventually released in June 2010.

    Major upset if release this way..Whay cant there be nubuck like the original? Same reason i didnt copp The black/red 6's earlier this year… And if final release is the same, I get to save me some cash..Im pretty sure many jordan heads feel the same on this…

  8. THE TAG IN THE PIC IS NOT A SAMPLE TAG,AND IF THE UPPER IS STILL SUEDE THEN ITS USELESS FOR JB TO EVEN RELEASE THIS! THE PIC STILL LOOKS LIKE VARSITY RED TO ME. AND WHERE IS THE WHITE INFRAREDS TO GO WITH THEM?

I get the feeling that JB will package these with the White Infrared 6s, and ppl will have to cop the "pack" in order to have the White 6s, which is the pair that ppl really want… remember the Countdown Pack 6/17, in order to get the Carmine 6s, ppl had to get the Suede 17s… what a money maker that was for JB…!

  12. These appear to be very similar to the Black/Varsity Red Air Jordan 6, but the size tag's production date & style number indicate that it is, in fact, the "Infrared" Air Jordan 6.

  13. I guess I should consider myself lucky for not getting the VI's in Jan. This is a guaranteed cop for me. I love my Carmines, and these are automatic for me. The oreos not so much :P

  20. hey guys…none of you are getting this anyway…its an international release ONLY…its gonna come in the pack 310 euros, works out to be about 400 plus their sales tax is like 18% plus shipping…550 for these? hell no. I think ill use that cash to buy another 11/12 package..oh yea

  21. Yeah, Ive been hearing its going to be an international release, but I don't mind buying them off of a trusted seller on ebay. Im sure there will be a markup, but as long as its reasonable I will buy them. The III's True Blue was an international release, but the markup wasnt too bad, and I expect this to be within reason. And I think these VI's will be diff than the ones from Jan. These are just sample/test pics and Im sure the final production ones will have much brighter red.

  26. This picture is not the actual infared's…….. These are the V-reds……… if you go to theshoegame.com you will see that they have this pic posted comparing the V-reds to the Infareds. but the infareds are fire though……

  31. i dont see how these are different from the varsity red 6s. i can automatically tell if they look like the ogs or not and the answer for that is they dont look like the ogs. waste of money buying the package
