Converse Weapon Evo - Kirk Hinrich

Converse has already established their line of basketball sneakers created for their posterboy, Dwayne Wade, but recently other Converse athletes have been spotted wearing new styles like Kirk Hinrich of the Chicago Bull. Kirk is breaking out the Weapon Evo, a performance basketball shoe which was developed from the original Converse Weapon. This sneaker features the typical Bulls’ colors of red, white, and black and a nice addition of patent leather at the heel.  A closer look at the new Weapon Evo can be seen after the jump, as for the rest of the world, expect the sneaker to be available at retailers starting in August.

  1. I noticed these the other day – I wonder if they've got other updates in 'em outside of the cut.

  2. I like these shoes…has the old school Magic Johnson vibe to them. I would definitely rock this shoe and colorway….

  3. need more pictures. but i like them. I think they look cool.

The traction on these looks questionable since Heinich seems to be out of position–like he caint keep up.

  4. @hammyhamster…

lmao… traction? thats called a blow-by, my friend… one of the top 15 players in the world (Kevin Durant) helped in the process…

  5. those look nice. but often cons look nice and fit/feel bad. so time will tell. hopefully it is an awesome combo of classic shoe with modern performance

  6. i first thought that it is not an athlete shoe.. but when i used it on court.. it just felt right! =) i will not use it for playing purposes but for swagging.. haha.. =)
