Jordan Brand will have multiple colorways of the Air Jordan 5 dropping in 2027, and one of the pairs dropping is the “Phoenix Suns” colorway. Although a new pair releasing, it will resemble Shawn Marion’s player-exclusive. The timing makes sense, as the 2027 NBA All-Star Game will be held at the Mortage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
As some may know, this Air Jordan 5 resembles Shawn Marion’s PE, which was created ahead of the 2006-07 season with the Suns. There are two versions: a White-based pair and a Black. For Marion’s PE, it featured his number 31 on the lateral side and a Jumpman on the heel. Jordan Brand has decided to bring the White pair to retailers in 2027.
From our sources, this Air Jordan 5 will resemble Shawn Marion’s PE. However, there could be minor changes. I expect the shoes to feature the number 23 on the heel and the Jumpman logo. However, it could have Nike Air branding.
The upper will be covered in White leather, with the signature mesh detailing on the panels and tongue. Additionally, we have Purple and Orange accents, connecting to the Suns. This will land on the midsole, “23” branding, and the Jumpman logo. Other details include Silver on the tognue that’s 3M reflective, translucent areas on the outsole with Purple and Orange accents.
