Concepts x New Balance 999 'S.E.A.L.'

Following yesterday’s teaser, Concepts presents official imagery of the brand’s upcoming “S.E.A.L.” New Balance 999.

The follow-up to last year’s beloved New Balance 999 “Kennedy”, the “S.E.A.L.” is inspired by the OTB Abyss II amphibious boot worn by U.S. Navy SEALs and features an upper of stain-resistant microfiber suede, ballistic mesh and breathable nylon alongside a gusseted tongue, military typography on the lining and footbed, morse code branding on the tongue tab and a Concepts branding patch on the insole.

Dropping alongside a matching Arc’Teryx jacket, the Concepts x New Balance 999 “S.E.A.L.” will be available in-store this Saturday, August 4, at 10 AM EDT for $150 before hitting the shop’s website later that afternoon.

  1. I admit. These look way better than the “Kennedy” 999. I’m not fancy about the $150 pricetag, maybe if they were made here in the U.S. Might try to make a play for them, but with a indoor release first then online later, I probably already missed out. Oh well…..
