Concepts has another collaboration with New Balance set to launch later this month. The Boston based store will take the New Balance 998 for a special ‘Boston Marathon’ release.
The collaboration is special as one of New Balance’s headquarters is in Boston as well as CNCPTS shop and the big marathon so they went above and beyond by adding premium materials and colors like Red, Royal Blue, White and Black. Looking closer, they feature hits of 3M reflective materials on the tongue as well as Croc embossed on the heel that is also reflective. ‘Boston 2016’ is embroidered across the heel while the vamp connects with Concepts and New Balance’s previous collaborative releases.
The Concepts New Balance 998 Boston Marathon is available now exclusively at Concepts Cambridge locations and The Tannery. An online release will take place on April 18th, 2016. Retail price is set at $220. Make sure to check back with us for additional images.
