The Nike 6.0 Mavrk has seen some interesting collaborations, but the latest is by far the most intriguing, as Nike 6.0 teamed up with Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin to create the Buzz Aldrin x Nike 6.0 Rocket Hero Mavrk Mid 2. This shoe is definitely historical, being the first shoe collaboration with an astronaut! Aldrin personalized the Mavrk to carry the details of his time in space, as the shoe comes complete with an upper that showcases shots of the galaxy, Aldrin’s own footprint on the insole, and a sweet translucent outsole to parallel the space boot. “Rocket Hero” is placed as the tongue tag to make these shoes legit. Also, the shoes were made in a green process, and have been implemented with a flexible fit system for ultimate comfort.
