One of the most popular releases taking place this year is the Air Jordan 4 ‘Bred’. This iconic shoe has released a total of four times with the 2019 release being the fifth. We haven’t seen Nike Air on the ‘Bred’ since 1999.
2019 not only marks the 20th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 4 ‘Bred’ release with Nike Air, but the 30th Anniversary of the original drop. Michael Jordan has had some infamous moments in this pair, one of those being called ‘The Shot’ (the first) where he drains the winning basket against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs.
‘The Shot’ took place on May 7th, 1989 and we will see the ‘Bred’ Jordan 4 return on May 4th, almost 30 years to the day. While the build is close to the original, there are differences but what stays close is the Black, Cement Grey, Summit White and Fire Red color scheme.
