Puma has brought back a classic in the Puma Stepper, aka the Clyde Mid, this time taking it to a whole new level with luxury materials fit for a fly mother you-know-what like Clyde Frazier in his heyday. The Stepper, last seen in this upcoming Fall 2013 “Animal Pack”, is a model that doesn’t exactly spring to mind when thinking of Puma, but it’s a great canvas for a shoe, especially for skaters, as its silhouette is fairly similar to the Vans Half Cab.
Utilizing a rich leather the color of mahogany for the uppers, the shoes keep their breathability with perforations added throughout. A padded, suede-trimmed collar adds to that classy style while adding comfort (even playas need comfort, you dig?), while the hidden camouflage print covering the lining of the shoes lets you know you’re ready for war if need be, whether on the court or in the streets (Ok, maybe not the courts anymore, but you get my drift).
