Asics has a two pair pack that is slowly hitting retailers. The Asics Gel “Glow in the Dark” Pack features the Asics Gel Lyte V and Asics Gel Kayano Trainer.
While each are similar, they feature unique color placement and even a few different colors. The Asics Gel Lyte V ‘Glow in the Dark’ features leather through the side panels as well as glow in the dark which will have more areas that glow then the Gel Kayano. Almost a steel blue us used on the overlays along with a perforated toe box. Last but not least is the galaxy print that hits the tongue and insole.
The Asics Gel Kayano Trainer ‘Glow in the Dark’ utilizes a blue upper paired with mesh and suede. Following is a mixture of green and white that hits the heel while solid white lands on the midsole. Like the GL5, the Kayano has a galaxy print on the tongue and and insole. Other details include glow in the dark accents and a grey outsole.
Shops overseas now have the Gel Lyte V and Gel Kayano Trainer forming the Asics Gel ‘Glow in the Dark’ Pack, with one being Slam Jam. A release in the U.S. is still unknown for now but should be coming soon. See more images of both models below.
