Alife x Reebok NYC Footwear Collection 2008

Alife and Reebok collaborations previously yielded successful releases which translated in to high priced sneakers being sold by re-sellers. Here’s a look at their recent collection of sneakers that are made up of different styles and designs.

This time around, men’s and women’s releases will be sold in the form of the ERS 5000 II, Pro Legacy Mid, Freestyle Hi and women’s Ventilator. The men’s ERS 5000 will be available in three color-ways accompanied by color-ful mid-soles. The women’s side will sport a splatter pattern on the mid-sole and laces. Expect to see these in select accounts worldwide next month. Via Stil Laden.

  1. Overall, they're nice. The splattered concept makes the shoe stand out….but iDont think i'd where them.

  2. The Alife sales rep. sent me the order form for this release over a month ago and he kept hounding me trying to talk me into ordering them. Two problems: 1. Their suggested retail price is $150 for these. 2. They wouldn't let me order just the ones that I wanted, I had to order all of them or none at all. Resellers won't make a dime on these. Shops will be clearing them out on ebay in less than two months for cost just to get rid of them.

I am a big fan of the Reebok ERS 5000 II, but not at these prices.

  3. However…. there might be some good news at the end of this solid color canvas madness, the sales rep also told me that there will be a Reebok Pump / Alife shoe to follow this release. No news on what style pump it will be. Could be very solid, but they could also ruin it.

  4. Tell the Alife rep if its a Court Victory to make it in half sizes. I'm all over pumps but I'll pass on the ERS's.
