Ever wanted carbon fiber in place of the patent leather on the Air Jordan XI?

If you answered yes, then you’ll enjoy these new images of an Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ Sample. Everything has remained the same as your typical AJXI with the exception of the patent being replaced by a faux carbon fiber wrap as we’ve previously seen in the Jordan CMFT Vis Air 11.

If these were to ever hit retail, would be have to grab a pair?

  1. Those are straight trash. The Cool Grey’s weren’t as tight as the original version; so these just make the injustice even worse. LOL!

  2. Uh…not so much. Strange combo, cool grey w/black CF. Just doesn’t look righ in pics anyway. I’d hafta see’em in person & try’em on. Not a definite pass but they got nothin on actual Cool Greys.

CF is kinda outta style and was never used except for the real thing on arch plates on any J’s I know of. It’s so “Matrix” just doesn’t go in general. Patent is timeless. Flashy? Hell yeah! But classey. Stay Classy, like Will Ferrell.

  3. I think the coolgrey theme with this carbon isnt a great idea they shud of just kept it all black with carbon and an icy sole. that wud look better than this.

  4. weak. dont mess with the classics. put cf on the jordan 2012s or other team shoe. dont mess with the signature.
