Like always, more and more images begin to surface of a certain sneaker, just days before the launch date. As the the release vastly approaches, we take you for another look at the Air Jordan XI (11) IE Low Retro.

The classic colorway will be releasing with similar design cues of the original, with the exception of the tinted outsole and nubuck finishing. Otherwise, these look as fresh as it’s 1996 counter part. Catch these on July 16, 2011 for a price of $120.

  3. pass, I gotta agree, once the icey sole is gone they lose character. I understand the smoke tinted sole wont yellow, but thats part of the originality of the shoe. I just picked up an icey pair of these in the Zen Grey/Cobalt colorway, wish they'd re-release those!

    1. You do realize that this shoe is an og colorway that released in '96 right? Saying that the smoked sole takes away the originality doesn't make sense since this is an og colorway. I'm not trying to start any argument or anything…I'm just saying lol….Now on the topic of getting the shoe, I think I'm going to have to pass for now and hopefully get them later on down the line because I think the shoe came out great. This is really the only colorway I like of the I.E. Low.

  6. Still got my retro pair from 03' so I gots to say I will pass on this one. I personally think JB did a hell of a good job with NOT putting an icey sole on this piece. I mean even if JB changed to the smoked sole due to icey soles yellowing, IMO I still think this was a positive move due to in all honesty it brings out the shoe way more than an icey sole!!!
